Coleen Nolan on losing her sister Linda, financial fears and adapting to single life

'IT'S HARD AT THE MOMENT'

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Coleen Nolan's sister Linda had sadly died, after a brave 20-year battle with cancer. The singer passed away aged 65, 'surrounded by her siblings', and Coleen, who also lost sister Bernie to the disease in 2013, shared a statement on Instagram, which read, 'I am utterly devastated by the passing of my sister Linda. Linda had a heart full of compassion and always knew how to bring comfort and joy to those around her. Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched, and while we will miss her more than words can express, we take solace in the love and warmth she shared with all of us.'

It's been a tough few months for Coleen. Before Christmas, it was revealed that she'd split from partner Michael Jones again and the star, who has never shied away from talking about her financial worries, reveals in an exclusive interview with Woman's Own that she's having money problems 'just like everyone else' since Michael moved out of the home they shared together.

Coleen, devastated by her sister's passing, will understandably need time to process what has happened, but just days before Linda's death she told Woman's Own that in 2025 she wants to embrace new opportunities – which her late sister would undoubtedly want for her.
