Q How often should you reapply sunscreen?

EVERY TWO HOURS ONLY AFTER SWIMMING

Answer: Protect yourself from burning by using a broad-spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30 on exposed areas, at least 30 minutes before you go into the sun, and reapply it every two hours and after being in the water (even if it says it's water resistant), or after sweating or towel-drying. Also, don't scrimp when squeezing or spraying. 'Most of us don't apply enough,' says GP Dr Hilary Jones. 'And we don't apply it as frequently as we should.' As a guide, you should be using around eight teaspoons to cover your entire body.

Q What fabric should you wear to avoid overheating?
