Perk up seats with pillows

"Bright and bold tie-dye accents offer a laid-back summer feel to any space," says home decor blogger Maria Brittis (@simple_nature_decor on Instagram). To pretty up a sofa, she suggests covering throw pillows with easy-made tie-dyed slipcovers. For a circular pattern, pinch the center of a damp white slipcover; tie with rubber bands. For stripes, fold it accordion-style in 4" increments and wrap with rubber bands every 4", forming a tube. Mix store-bought blue dye in a spray bottle and spritz fabric. Let sit; rinse, wash and dry per dye box instructions.
