Tweedy's aiming high for Archers

UNDER the leadership of flanker Nathan Tweedy, Nottingham are hungry to achieve their best finish in the Championship since the 2012-13 season.
The Archers currently sit fourth and Tweedy has proved himself a worthy leader for his side with his experience of playing across the world having a positive impact on his team mates’ performances.
Tweedy told The Rugby Paper: “I grew up in New Zealand, played schoolboy and academy rugby there. I moved to Hawke’s Bay where I was in and out of the squad and then moved to play two seasons in Hong Kong for Hong Kong Scottish which is where I met Hammo (Craig Hammond), as he was a coach out there at the time. Hammo moved to coach over here in Nottingham and I joined him.”
His relationship with fellow Kiwi Hammond has played a big part in his career and Tweedy, who is 6ft and weighs 16st 5lbs, has made 52 appearances in the last four years.
