Stradwick delight as Kent hit a hat-trick

TOM Stradwick was all smiles as his Kent side made it a superb hat-trick of Divison One titles at Twickenham.

The head coach and lock produced another towering performance, leading from the front and driving the men from the south on to more glory with a fine victory over fierce rivals Yorkshire.

This repeat of last year’s final saw them come out on top far more convincingly. They were dominant for most of it while two late tries gave Yorkshire some scoreboard pride and showed their fight and fitness in the heat.

But Kent were always in control once they got their noses in front and had an answer every time the White Rose men threatened to turn the game around.
