Murley intends to prove he's no one-cap wonder

CADAN MURLEY is hoping to build on his superb performance against Gloucester and play himself back into the England squad touring Argentina and USA this summer.

The electric winger reminded Steve Borthwick what he is all about by scoring a hat-trick in the 38-19 win at Allianz Stadium last weekend and has only two more opportunities to shine — at home to Exeter today and away to Bristol on May 31 — now that Quins are all but out of the play-off race.

Three games into his comeback from the foot injury that prevented him adding to his one England cap against Ireland in the Six Nations, Murley is fit and firing and ready to book his place on the plane to South America, 10 years after his only previous trip there — to Brazil and Argentina with Bishop Wordsworth School.

"First things first was getting back fit and healthy and I am feeling really good at the moment, and then it is sort of kind of using these games to try and get back into form," Murley told The Rugby Paper.

"I feel I am finding my feet again and back in the form when I made my England debut, so hopefully, touch wood, I will stay fit and healthy and I can push for my spot on the plane.
