KING Edward's School fought relentlessly to secure a marginal victory over Cheltenham College to win the Vase final.

The highly anticipated affair got off at an exhilarating start as Cheltenham College looked all but certain to score after breaking KES's lines several times only to be prevented by some heroic last ditch defending.
It was then Cheltenham's turn to display their defensive ability as Jack Savic made a bumding tackle on the byline to prevent Cheltenham from putting points on the board.
Some immense strength saw KES struggle over the line as star man Noah Murray struggled through multiple bodies to slam down on the tryline, followed up with extras.
