SON of a pig farmer, Freddie Lockwood has been a headline-hogging act for Newcastle this season.
The versatile 6'2 back rower, who has played six, seven and eight, has scored eight tries in 19 appearances and made the second-most carries and the post-contact third-most metres in the cup.
And the 24-year-old, below, gets another opportunity to impress this weekend as the Falcons bid to complete the Premiership Cup pool stages with a perfect record of six bonus-point wins out of six.
"I've been enjoying it it's been good to get some consistent game time and have a good run of games and be a part of it," the Yorkshireman said. "With the Cup being on during the Six Nations and the Championship clubs be ing involved as well, it just gives us a few more games.
