Bulls are too good for Edinburgh's battlers

BULLS remain on course for a third URC final in four seasons after overcoming an early deficit to subdue Edinburgh with a blitz of 31 unanswered points and book another home semi-final.

Jake White’s side are still searching for a first title - after final losses to Stormers in 2022 and Glasgow last year - and were made to look vulnerable at times by a gallant Scottish side.

Edinburgh led 21-8 after 30 minutes but were blown away either side of the interval as the Bulls turned up the power.

“We were certainly in trouble in the first half,” said full-back Willie le Roux, who provided a couple of classy assists. “We had to regroup and play in the right areas, get our kicking game going and that forced them into mistakes, which we capitalised on.”
