The benefits of fish and fish oil consumption are well-known in medical science as fish is considered a precious food resource that provides sufficient nutrition to humans.

It has been proved beyond doubt that fish possess several health benefits, such as anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, wound healing, neuro protection, cardio protection, and hepatoprotection properties. Fish proteins, such as immunoglobins, act as defense agents against viral and bacterial infections and prevent protein-calorie malnutrition. Fish oil also helps regulate various signaling pathways such as the nuclear factor kappa B pathway, Toll-like receptor pathway, transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) pathway, and peroxisome proliferators activated receptor (PPAR) pathways for strengthening the immune system and growth factors.
