Farke urges United fans to get behind hard-working Brenden

Daniel Farke has urged Leeds fans to get behind Brenden Aaronson, saying the United States forward "works his socks off for us".

The Leeds head coach said he was aware of some of the criticism aimed at Aaronson, and while he was quick to defend his player, he also added he “had to deliver”.

“It's important to not be too much on the back of a player and put too much weight on his shoulders,” Farke said.

“People can be a bit overcritical with some players and I have to defend them.
