Two North Lanarkshire churches has been put up for sale at bargain prices by the Church of Scotland.

Craigneuk & Belhaven Church has been put on the market with an asking price of just £125,000.

The well-kept detached church, steeped in character and history, dates back to the late 1800s. The property has been maintained to a high standard and retains many of its traditional features while offering practical modern facilities.

The church's brochure to potential buyers states: "The building is not listed and could be used, without the necessity of obtaining change of use consent, as a creche, day nursery, day centre, educational establishment, museum, art gallery or public library.
