Drunk exposed himself during takeaway visit

A MAN waved his penis around in a busy sandwich shop in Pembrokeshire, a court has heard. Marc Innes then unleashed a torrent of racial and homophobic abuse at the police officer who arrested him for his drunken takeaway display.

During the bizarre episode at the Subway in Haverfordwest, the 34-year-old former tree surgeon also stole crisps and “used filthy language”, his sentencing hearing at Swansea Crown Court heard on Tuesday.

During the hearing the judge told the defendant the only person who was interested in his penis was him, and that the 34-year-old had demeaned himself by his behaviour.

Georgia Donohue, prosecuting, told the court that on the evening of September 19 the defendant walked into a Subway shop in Haverfordwest and ordered a sandwich.

She said Innes was noted to have glazed eyes and slurred speech and to be unsteady on his feet, and staff came to the conclusion he was under the influence of drink or drugs.
