Tributes paid to one of Fulham's oldest residents who lived whole life in area

ONE of Fulham's oldest and most well-known residents has died at the age of 101, it has been announced.

Lil Francis passed away on August 23, having happily spent her entire life in the affluent area of west London.

The centenarian, who worked in a factory supporting the Second World War effort after leaving school, was known for her strong work ethic and close family ties.

Grandson Jamie McFarlane said: “Lil was proud to have lived her whole life in Fulham, surrounded by family through to the end of her long and full life.”
