These furry companions charm with funny and heart-warming content posted by their owners
Spotty the Dalmatian became a trending topic after her owners shared a video of them flying to Japan in Singapore Airlines' business class on Instagram on Feb 9.
The reel was posted on Spotty's Instagram account (@spottythe swissdalmatian), which has more than 119,000 followers.
The assistance dog from Switzerland is one of many pets that have become social media stars, thanks to the cute, funny and heart-warming content uploaded by their proud owners.
According to influencer marketing platform Lefty, the pet industry's substantial growth can be partly attributed to social media and pet influencer marketing. It added in its 2024 Most Popular Pet Influencers report that pets have become powerful ambassadors capable of shaping consumer behaviour.
