City councillor was forced to direct traffic
COUNCIL officials are due to meet with Severn Trent today after chaos on a city road - triggered by 'traffic calming measures'.
The meeting follows Friday's move to introduce barriers on Kelvin Avenue, between Birches Head and Sneyd Green - which saw one councillor having to direct traffic.
Crews were called in to remove the barriers that had gone in to create a 'chicane'.
Now Stoke-on-Trent City Council has responded to the incident - and says there will be a meeting over the situation on Monday.
