Fundraiser to help domestic abuse charity

A STOKE-on-Trent-based domestic abuse specialist has launched its festive fundraising appeal to help children and families spending the season in safe accommodation.

Glow, part of Honeycomb Group, supports families across Staffordshire who have experienced domestic abuse.

Through refuges and community-based safe accommodation, staff provide a safe haven and specialist support to help survivors rebuild their lives. Many of the people they support are children and young people who have witnessed abuse at home.

And for many families arriving at Glow's refuges, Christmas looks very different.
