SORBA STRIKES TO NET POINT FOR POTTERS...

SORBA Thomas ensured Stoke City took at least a point from a match with Norwich when they were cursing not to keep all three.

- Peter Smith

Thomas pounced early in the second half to cancel out Jovon Makama’s breakaway opener for the visitors at the bet365 Stadium.

Stoke were dominant for large parts of the afternoon but couldn't find a second goal. Million Manhoef hit the post while Bae Junho had two efforts scrambled away from pretty much on the line while Viktor Johansson saved well from Liam Gibbs in a rare Norwich attack.

It means Stoke draw for the first time this season while Norwich - who have lost four out of four at home under Liam Manning - remain unbeaten on their travels.

"I'm pleased with the performance overall," said Mark Robins. "We are all disappointed that we didn’t get the second goal and the fact we conceded the first one wasn’t too clever either. I think those are the only things I can complain about really. Realistically we were dominant from start to finish. I think we had 26 shots. We had more possession, we had more shots, more touches in their penalty area. We were in control and more so than in any other game since I’ve been here, I think. That's a pleasing aspect.
