Robins' standards are key to Potters' excellent start

MARK Robins' Stoke City side have made an impressive start to the Championship season.

Sometimes he can be watching play and not thinking enough. He has to say to himself, 'If we win it now, I need to be here... if we win it now, I need to be there.'

He needs to take up positions early to then make a positive movement. That's so important as a striker because you can make the outcome so much better.

One of the best I've seen at that is still Gary Lineker, who would make two or three steady runs, shifting centre-backs about, before a devastating final movement. He kept getting better at it too.
