SANDYFORD and Crewe are still neck and neck at the top as both teams won. Sandyford had a six six wicket victory over Wedgwood.

Wedgwood decided to bat first but Ken Waiswa’s 60 was the only score above 17 as they fell to 123 all out. Kalhara Senarathne took 4-31.

In reply Sandyford fell to 59-4 but an unbeaten partnership of 68 with Matt Taylor being 64 not out with two sixes and eight fours and Stephen Shemilt’s 25 seeing them home with 127-4.

Crewe beat Blythe by 80 runs. Crewe were all out for 218 thanks to 123 from Lewis Bacon with a six and 19 fours whilst Peter Finch took 3-27.

Blythe were never in the hunt and were all out for 148 with Wasim Shah making 37 and Almas Shirzad 24.

Three bowlers did the damage with three wickets each, Sam Youds (3-10), Rory Kalnins (3-28) and Ollie Jarvis (3-30).
