The Bridgerton and Derry Girls star on her hero products and the rise of injectables
I have the same insecurities and fears as everyone else. But I’ve always been quite determined and sure of what I wanted to do. I think that came from having a love of acting and storytelling from such a young age. My mum also taught me to be led by my moral compass. If you are led by that, hopefully you can’t steer yourself too far wrong.
You feel the most beautiful when someone you love tells you that you’re beautiful. There’s nothing that can match that.
Work-wise I’m filming Bridgerton at the minute. We’re towards the end of season four. Then I’ll have a summer break, which is not normal for me. And it’s been fun working on my new partnership with Olaplex, because it’s a brand I’ve used for years and years. Also to do it with Halley Brisker, who’s done my hair for years too. We got to go out to LA and shoot the commercial together.
Zendaya is my beauty icon. I love how she can wear all these different looks, yet she still looks like herself. In her roles, she’s not that glam, either. She’s not wearing make-up. I really respect her — she has the balance right.

Review: Need a sound night's sleep? These earbuds can even cancel your neighbours
I am incredibly noise-sensitive. I have the disposition of an irritable bat, which is only exacerbated in a sleep setting. And I have neighbours whose noise is constant: coughing, kids screaming, shouting.

Shabana Mahmood faces revolt over her asylum changes
DAILY MAIL “For the millions in this country who want an end to unchecked illegal migration, Shabana Mahmood’s proposals for a Danish-style asylum system are a decent start. There are simple, commonsense tweaks to rules widely regarded as far too generous. A key sticking point will be Mahmood’s struggle to sell the proposals to her own backbenchers.
