Birthday bash raises £4,000
Remarkable lad Kyle Fisher
An Ayrshire teenager was celebrating the “best night ever” after raising £4,000 for charity with a birthday bingo night.
Kyle Fisher managed to raise the sum for his 16th birthday after celebrating with his nearest and dearest at Dance Depot in Kilwinning.
The money is being split between two causes close to Kyle and his family’s heartWhiteley’s Retreat where Kyle has enjoyed regular respite breaks and The Children’s Ward at Crosshouse Hospital.
Kyle has cerebral palsy as well as a rare genetic condition which means he is tube fed and has a central line and stoma.
For the last 16 months, Kyle has been resident mostly in Ward 1b at Crosshouse and has only been allowed home on pass.
