Libertines head to the Eden Sessions

ONE of Britain's best loved bands The Libertines will be headlining a must-see Eden Sessions event in July, joined by an eclectic line-up of special guests including Frank Turner.

An unforgettable day of electrifying music is on offer as the Eden Project yet again transforms into a one-day Sessions paradise. The spectacular Biomes and vast outdoor gardens will once again be the stunning kaleidoscopic backdrop for a standout day of uncompromising rock music, providing an exciting finale to this year's Eden Sessions season.

The Libertines defined an era of heady music, frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty apparently following one common dream: "It's either to the top of the world, or the bottom of a canal", Barât once said to Doherty in the early days of their friendship. Alongside them in the band, bassist John Hassall and powerhouse drummer Gary Powell help create the unique chemistry that is a testament to a bond forged in the heart of Britain's early-2000s indie explosion.
