Jessica's new single with star tenor Alfie is 'something special'

CORNISH singer/songwriter Jessica Sweetman — who quit the UK to go to Nashville with nothing and won herself a record deal with BMG - has just released a single with national treasure, British tenor, Alfie Boe.

Their first official collaboration is an emotionally charge duet - Broken Perfect Love - that was recorded in the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London and released earlier this month.

The single is a beautiful, heart rending, uplifting and incredibly personal song that seeks to raise awareness of mental health issues and it echoes Jessica and Alfie’s own journeys which they first shared with each other after a meeting at the renowned Green Room at the Devonshire in London.

An impromptu live performance there sparked an instant connection and from it developed an ongoing friendship rooted in honesty, humour and a love of music.

“Broken Perfect Love is the result,” said Jessica. “It's a heart-on-sleeve ballad that delves deep into love's ability to make us open up, feel vulnerable and connect with each other in a deeply human manner.
