Fry works hard to stay injury-free

ROB Edwards says Dael Fry will be sacrificing the majority of his days off for the rest of the year, with the defender desperate to try to stay injury-free for Middlesbrough.

Fry returned to the starting lineup at Portsmouth before the international break. It was his first start since missing three games due to an issue with the same calf that kept him sidelined for nine months last year.

The issue, Edwards previously explained, was quite common with the particular problem he had with his calf, and as such, Boro are needing to manage the Teessider carefully.
