HE BROKE INTO COLLEGE DURING CRIME SPREE
John Chapman
A BRAZEN burglar broke into a college, was seen cutting copper cables on a roof, and threw a bicycle at police during a "campaign" of offending.
John Chapman embarked on a crime spree in order to feed his drug habit at a time when his “head fell off” following his mother’s cancer diagnosis.
When his offending caught up with him, the 39-year-old, who has over 100 offences on his record, fled from police before throwing his bicycle at an officer. The incident caused the officer to fall onto a railway line and sustain facial injuries.
