Bully raped woman and beat her dog with a bat

A “MISOGYNISTIC, bully” threatened to share intimate photographs of a woman he had raped, a court heard.

Jordan Wagstaffe has been jailed for 15 years for a string of horrific rapes, sexual assaults and abuse.

Teesside Crown Court heard how the 26-year-old denies the offences to this day but was found guilty unanimously by a jury.

While he admitted a single charge of threatening to share intimate photographs, Wagstaffe denied six further offences including two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

In sentencing, Judge Jonathan Carroll told Wagstaffe: “Throughout you have displayed a misogynistic sense of entitlement and distortion based on your general attitudes towards women.”

He described the case as a “truly shocking example” of “controlling, coercive male bullying”.
