A good time for Boro to face troubled Foxes?

MIDDLESBROUGH must forget their Watford frustrations and travel to tackle Leicester City in a positive frame of mind.

A good time for Boro to face troubled Foxes?

Riley McGree has suffered his share of injury troubles

This is a great time to be taking on the Foxes, who have failed to win any of their last four home games.

In fact Saturday's home defeat at the hands of Blackburn Rovers has set the alarm bells ringing in the stands at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester started well on their return to the Championship but have lost their way in recent weeks.

There's already a feeling that they are suffering greatly from the departure of Jamie Vardy, who left the club in the summer after scoring 200 goals in 500 appearances.

Vardy was such an important and influential team figure in the team that Leicester appear slightly soulless without his presence.

In addition Leicester did not significantly strengthen their squad following relegation from the Premier League. In fact they brought in only five new players.

This looks likely to prove costly as far as their promotion chances are concerned.

New manager Marti Cifuentes, who replaced Ruud van Nistelrooy in the summer, was a rather strange choice.

Cifuentes had only a 33 per cent win ratio at his previous club QPR and, at the moment, he is doing no better at Leicester.
