TravelCare and Skate the World: United by Wheels and the Will to Make a Difference

The homegrown TravelCare celebrated its 2nd anniversary with a Tourism Stakeholder's Gala Night

Present at the gala were several of the travel agency's key players and guests, which included HRRACI Board of Trustee and SEDA Central Bloc general manager Aaron Manalang, representatives from EVA Airways, the Lapu-Lapu City Government led by mayor Ma. Cynthia King-Chan, representatives of Santo Niño Mactan Montessori School Inc., hotel executives and members of the media.

The occasion ran with the theme "Vienna Meets Visayas: Bridging Cultures, Boosting Tourism" - which highlighted a new partnership between TravelCare and Austrian tourism advocate and Skate the World founder Matthias Stelzmüller.

In her welcome remarks, TravelCare's Sunshine Lim formally announced the partnership, which was further underscored in a bespoke Q&A segment with Stelzmüller - who expressed optimism about the potentials of the partnership between the Philippines and Austria, with support from TravelCare and tourism stakeholders from both countries.

He added that the Philippines and Austria can learn a lot from each other in the areas of travel, hospitality and culture.
