This is exemplified by Dilip Kumar Dahyalal Chauhan and Dr. Nishtha Thaker from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, who have been conferred with the 25th NCPEDP Helen Keller Award in Category A - Role Model for Persons with Disabilities.

This prestigious national award celebrates individuals and organisations that champion inclusivity in the employment ecosystem.

With over 15 years at Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS Vadodara, Dilip D. Chauhan, now Vice Principal, has turned his 100% visual impairment into a strength, championing inclusive education and accessibility. He has implemented initiatives such as ramps, wheelchairs, special educators, and assistive tools, benefiting both students and employees with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive school environment.
