Vijay film misses R-Day release too

The delay has already disrupted release plans, promotional schedules and distribution commitments

Uncertainty over the release of actor Vijay's much-a nticipated film Jana Nayagan is poised to lift on January 27, when the Madras High Court is scheduled to deliver its verdict on the dispute sur rounding the film’s censor certificate.

Court sources said the order will be pronounced at 10.30 am, effectively ruling out any possibility of a Republic Day release for the film, which has been awaiting clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification.
