Helicopter firm's expansion offers extended service

A HELICOPTER service to the Isles of Scilly has marked a milestone with the addition of new aircraft and services.
Starspeed, which operates Penzance Helicopters, provides flights to St Mary's, and the only direct flights to Tresco.
The firm is developing its services and has now leased a third Sikorsky S-76C++ helicopter to meet increasing passenger demand.
The aircraft is due to arrive in the UK later this year and expected to enter service in the autumn.
Penzance Helicopters has also received approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority to undertake base maintenance on its aircraft at Penzance Heliport.
