A MAN in his seventies who was found dead by police at a property in St Ives has been named locally.
-
Town council officials said the family of Toni Carver, the editor of the St Ives Times and Echo, were “looking to the future”.
The emergency services were dispatched to a property on High Street shortly after 9am on Friday, November 14, after a call was received expressing concern for a person’s welfare. Police later confirmed that the body of a man in his seventies had been found.
A spokesperson said following preliminary investigations the death was not being treated as suspicious and a file was now being prepared for the coroner.
