Birds of a feather flock together in coast-to-coast world record attempt

A GROUP of female fundraisers will strive to make history this month while raising funds for breast cancer awareness.
The Great Flamingo Coast to Coast challenge has been submitted to Guinness World Records as an attempt to create “the largest group of women walking coast to coast dressed as flamingoes”.
Taking place on Sunday, July 20, the world record bid will see more than 50 participants cross Cornwall from south to north in a day via the historic Saints' Way.
Starting at 7am in Fowey, the pink-feathered record hopefuls aim to cover 30 miles and reach Padstow by sunset.
