If you think Mamelodi Sundowns will take their foot off the pedal should they race to an early lead in the Carling Knockout final against Magesi FC, then you're grossly mistaken.
Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi (above) has issued a stern warning to his players against taking it easy and dismissed any thoughts of showboating.
The two teams will clash at the Free State Stadium today for the right to be crowned champions of the South African league cup (kick-off 6pm).
As you would expect, the odds are heavily stacked against Magesi, who will be playing in their first cup final.
