Tino focused on Magpies ahead of World Cup

Livramento has also touched on the worrying knee injury that resulted in him being carried off against Arsenal earlier in the campaign and how the horror moment left him watching games from home on TV.

The Magpies remain in the bottom half after a poor autumn, but are now starting to pick up and since the former Chelsea youth star returned to the team, Eddie Howe's fortunes have improved with Livramento's balance helping deliver 10 points from the last 12 in the Premier League.

Livramento is deemed as a shining light for both club and country with Thomas Tuchel certain to call up the versatile ace if he is fit this summer.

When asked about international aspirations, Livramento spoke of his debt to Newcastle first.

Livramento said: “It [the World Cup] is in the summer but at the back of my mind. It is a big thing.
