FAMILY RUN CAFE KNOWN FOR IT’S ITALIAN ICE CREAM CELEBRATES A CENTURY

A FAMILY cafe which is known for its unique Italian ice cream has celebrated operating for 100 years.
Arrighi’s Crescent Cafe was opened in Seaton Delaval, Northumberland, in 1925 by Carlo and Marianna Arrighi.
The couple, from the Barga area of Tuscany, Italy, began serving customers their Fior di Latte ice cream - a family recipe which has since been passed down the generations.
