A STRAY firework caused 'shocking' damage to the garden of a house in North Shields.
Gemma Davison has spoken out after the fire which caused £16,500 worth of damage to her home, on Friday, October 31, at around 9.50pm. The mum of four wants to raise awareness after the incident which destroyed the family's summer house and several other items in the garden, including several bicycles and a moped.
Doorbell camera footage watched by Gemma, 38, and her husband Morgan, 42, showed a firework come over the fence into their garden, setting it ablaze.
