BJP Vows aid for Women, LPG discounts, and graduate stipends in Jharkhand

In preparation for the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled an ambitious manifesto on Sunday, detailing a series of promises aimed at various demographics within the state.

The announcement took place in Ranchi, led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and outlines the party's commitment to enhance the socio-economic landscape of Jharkhand if they are voted back into power.

One of the key highlights of the BJP's manifesto is the promise to provide direct financial assistance of 2,100 per month to every woman in Jharkhand. This initiative aims to empower women financially and boost their economic independence, reflecting the party's strategy to appeal to female voters.

Additionally, the BJP proposed a substantial subsidy for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders. According to the manifesto, each family will receive cylinders at a cost of 500 per unit, with two cylinders offered free of charge annually. This measure is intended to alleviate the financial burden on households and ensure access to cooking gas, which is essential for daily living.
