Markets open flat amid global cues, IPO buzz, and Bihar poll caution

Domestic stock market opened on a flat note on Monday, continuing its sideways movement as investors remained cautious ahead of key domestic and global events.

Both benchmark indices registered marginal gains in early trade-The Nifty 50 index opened at 25,503.50, up 11.20 points or 0.04 per cent, while the BSESensex started the session at 83,350.35, rising 134.07 points or 0.16 per cent.
