It tends to be the song that once heard, you cannot get it out of your head - known as an earworm - and then struggle to name another tune by the same band or individual.
Now you can celebrate that song - National One-Hit Wonder Day is on September 25.
It was established by music journalist Steve Rosen 1990 to pay tribute to all of those who have had their fifteen minutes (or less) of fame and subsequently vanished, leaving the world with only a catchy tune to remember them by.
