Ex-pro Ian wants ‘top dogs’ show

- BY ROSE HILL

STRICTLY dancer Ian Waite has called on the BBC to bring back some of its top talent for an all-star series.

Ian, who was a professional on the show from 2004 to 2009, says he “can’t wait” to watch this year's celebrities compete in the hit dance competition.

But he reckons it would be “wonderful” if the Beeb copied the likes of I'm a Celebrity and Love Island and brought back some of the show’s best performers.

Ian, who was paired with athlete Denise Lewis in 2004 and radio host Zoe Ball in 2005, says: “Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was an all-star version?

“It could be in April or May as a series with all the top dogs like me and Zoe and, I don't know, Brendan Cole and Natasha Kaplinsky”.
