EUROPA LEAGUE glory was supposed to represent a turning point in Tottenham's history.

But outside of switching head coaches and the shock departure of Daniel Levy, not much has actually changed in N17 since that fairy-tale night in Bilbao.

In fact, in both of Ange Postecoglou's home Premier League meetings against Chelsea, Spurs led and took the game to their rivals in two pulsating, goal-heavy thrillers.

Here they barely laid a glove on the Blues and had just one shot on target in one of the most comfortable 1-0 wins you're ever likely to see.

When Tottenham unveiled Thomas Frank as their new boss in June, the club described him as "one of the most progressive and innovative head coaches within the game".

Outside of improving their set-piece record, there hasn't been much to shout about and the football is rather bland.
