TOWIE's Ferne on how bad can lead to good

- BY JANINE YAQOOB TV and Showbiz Editor

BECOMING a mum for the first time with daughter Sunday was transformative in so many ways for Ferne McCann.

Her life was chaos, pregnant while her then-boyfriend stood trial for throwing acid in a London nightclub.

But the former The Only Way Is Essex star saw light at the end of the tunnel as she prepared to be a mum.

Ferne, 35, says: "It was stressful when I was in survival mode. But I had this blessing that I was pregnant. She was meant to be here."

Ferne had Sunday in November 2017. A month later, her exher baby's dad Arthur Collins, got 20 years' jail for the acid attack.

That experience is the inspiration behind Ferne's new venture, her Every Cloud podcast, exploring how good things can come from bad.
