Kompany man Kane has back seat in rout

HARRY KANE began the night on the bench but Bayern Munich did not miss a beat as they crushed Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 to make it 15 wins from 15.

With one eye on Tuesday's trip to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Bayern boss Vincent Kompany opted to start without the England ace.

But even without their goal machine, Leverkusen could do nothing to stem the flow of goals as the German champions blew them away with a first-half salvo.

Their first goal was a beauty, Tom Bischof's glorious pass from inside his own half finding the feet of Serge Gnabry, who raced clear before cooly slotting the ball past Mark Flekken.
