MAN DIES AS TWO FIRES BREAK OUT

A MAN was found dead after a house fire as two blazes broke out in the Black Country.

Police were called to Lunt Place and Marbury Drive in Bilston after fires broke out at two addresses.

The two streets are connected to one another, although it was not confirmed the two blazes were linked.

Firefighters were called at around 2am on Saturday.

Four people were taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be critical after being led to safety from a house on Lunt Place.

Around ten minutes later, the body of a man in his 70s was found inside a home on Marbury Drive.

Police and firefighters were working to establish the circumstances of his death.
