Stockport Express
|July 02, 2025
A “HEARTLESS” rogue trader who conned homeowners across the North West has been slapped with a 10-year prison sentence following separate probes by Lancashire Police, Stockport Trading Standards and Halton Trading Standards.
Steven Lee Junior, of Rosemary Lane, Bartle, Preston, is said to have traded under the business names Drysky Property Services and Dedicated Roofing Solutions.
He was sentenced in his absence at Preston Crown Court on June 5 after confessing to numerous frauds and a consumer protection offence.
The 39-year-old is reported to have admitted eight offences under the Fraud Act 2006 (fraud by false representation) and one offence under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (engaging in an aggressive commercial practice).
The sentencing took into account crimes committed against eight victims across the North West, including three in Stockport.
