Charity appeals for help ahead of Xmas

A Stirling charity which offers advice and support to those often most in need are launching a call for volunteers ahead of another busy festive period.

The Stirling Street Pastors are often found out and about in the city's streets late on Friday and Saturday nights and also on the campus of Stirling University on Friday afternoons, ensuring people receive the critical words and advice they require.

October is a pivotal month for the group's recruitment, with the Street Pastors visiting many churches in the area to spread the word about their work and to find willing volunteers willing to give up their time to help keep the cause going.
