Southern Suburbs Tatler
|May 01, 2025
Cecil Road Primary School in Salt River unveiled a new playground for their Grade R pupils last Thursday, April 24.
The playground includes a slide, swing, jungle gym, hopscotch playing area and benches on an Astro turf.
It was made possible by a R368 000 donation from the South African Muslim Charitable Trust (SAMCT).
Principal Shahid Mathews says for many years their two Grade R classes did not have a developed playground for their pupils.
