NEWPORT and St Fagans are set for a thrilling battle as the South Wales Premier Cricket League season nears the final month of the season.

Leaders Newport have a three-point advantage over the reigning champions at the top after both recorded victories at the weekend.
Newport maintained their position at the head of affairs thanks to a tense 15-run win over Usk.
Campbell Macmillan scored 48 as Newport were all out for 168. Ollie Rayner took 4-35.
Usk skipper Elliott Doyle gave his side hope with a stubborn 56, but Newport's bowling heroes were Tom Barry (3-9) and Salman Saeed (3-21) as the visitors were dismissed for 153.
Steven Reingold and Owen Morgan stole the show as St Fagans maintained their title push with a 202-run win at home to Ammanford.
Inform opener Reingold’s fine summer continued as he struck a sparkling 137 in his side's impressive 319-7. His knock included 14 fours and two sixes.
Skipper Morgan shared a partnership of 111 with Reingold as he added a fine 85. Jac Kenchington took 3-52.
Morgan then took centre stage with the ball, claiming figures of 3-34 as Ammanford were all out for 117. Zac Williams also took three wickets.
Dylan Driscoll top-scored for Ammanford with 36.
Pontarddulais kept their outside chance of silverware alive with a seven-wicket win at home to Cardiff.
The capital side reached 226-7 with Sam Wyatt scoring 88. Former Glamorgan all-rounder Richard Grant took 4-41.
